Zerita Wright (Wright) Clark

Funeral services for Zerita Wright Clark, 71, of Pittsburg will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Kyle Smith and Bro. Anthony Anderson officiating.  Cremation will follow and interment will be in Lafayette Cemetery in Upshur County at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.

Zerita Wright Clark was born August 1, 1948 in McCrory, Arkansas to Alvin Wright and Elsie Smith Wright. Zerita entered the pearly gates of Heaven to be with Jesus on June 16, 2020 at the age of 71 surrounded by her children.

Zerita is survived by her son, Steven Johnson; daughters, Candice and husband, Chance Morris of Pittsburg, Hailey Clark and husband, Kendal Linwood of Pittsburg, and Ana and husband, Dakota Pyron of Russellville, Arkansas, Mary Margaret and husband, Rob Watson and Mary Ann Johnson. She was Nana to her beloved grandchildren, Erin, Kameron, Breana, Autumn, Zeke, Kylo and Axel. She is also survived by her siblings, sister, Anna Marshall of Marston, North Carolina; brother, Tom Wright and wife, Judy of Pittsburg, TX; sister, Beverly Anderson and husband, Anthony of Pittsburg, TX, and over eighty nieces and nephews.

Zerita is preceded in death by her husband, Larry of 13 years; parents, Alvin and Elsie; sister, Barbara DeOrnellis and brother-in-law, Orval DeOrnellis.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
