Walter James Weeks

Memorial services for Walter James Weeks, 79, of Pittsburg, will be 11:30 a.m., Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Mount Pleasant Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Esequias Perea officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Weeks passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Weeks was born on October 2, 1945, in Dallas to William James and Lula Lee Burchfield Weeks.  He was a retired construction foreman and a member of the Mount Pleasant Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Catalina “Cathy” Weeks; sons, Ronald Weeks, Wesley Weeks, and Rodney Weeks; daughters, Larissa Jones and Erica Rouanzoin; 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jerldeen Fain.

Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his parents, and all his siblings, except his one sister.
