Ms. Victoria Marie Sullivan, age 72, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was born July 23, 1949 to Harrison Morton French II and Vivian Earl Dickson French in Pittsburg, Texas.
She worked as a Dispatcher/Jailer for the Camp County Sheriff’s Department from August 1984-November 1985, she was a Jail Administrator, Chief Jailer, and Dispatcher for Franklin County Sheriff’s Department from March 19, 1986 until retirement with 24 years, four months, and eleven days of service on July 31, 2009. She then worked with Chuck White Bail Bonds as an Administrative Assistant from July 2009 until December 31, 2011, then she completely retired from the Franklin County Treasurers Office where she was the Deputy Treasurer/Accounts Payable Clerk from February 15, 2021 till December 31, 2012. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons, Harold L. Sullivan and wife Sabrina of West Tawakoni, Texas and Michael S. Sullivan of Mason, Texas, and William French, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; grandchildren, Colton Zane and Joseph Rex Tosh of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Landon Patrick and wife Jessilynn of N. Augusta, South Carolina, Stephanie Ann Sullivan of Weeki Wachi Florida, and Valentina Larie Aguirre of Sulphur Springs, Texas; great-grandchildren, Liam, Leland, Logan, and Levi Patrick of North Augusta, South Carolina; brother, Jerome L. French of Livingston, Texas; sister, Kathleen Ann (Kathy) French of Flatonia, Texas; sister-in-law, Leona French of New Boston; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Dakota Wyatt (Cody) Sullivan Tosh, sister, Violet Teresa French; and brothers, Michael Patrick (Mike) French, William Henry (Hank) French, Billy Gene French, Harrison Morton (Sonny) French III, and Charles Wayne French.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Larry Black officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg. There will be no visitation.
