Thurman Moses Albright

Mr. Thurman Moses Albright, age 91, of Pittsburg passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, in Pittsburg. He was born November 14, 1930, to Edgar Burwell Albright and Estella Mae Prater Albright in Upshur County.

He was a retired truck driver and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mount Pleasant. Thurman proudly served in the United State Army during the Korean War. 

He is survived by his wife, Delores Jo Daily Albright; daughter, Sheri Albright Sullivan. Grandchildren, Tracey Sullivan, Jared Ezekiel Sullivan and wife Lori Chalk Sullivan, Brittany Nicole and husband Sean Porter. Great-grandchildren, Kaden Chatham Senter, Kaiya Belle Porter, Jayden Ezekiel Sullivan, Kennedy Rae Porter, and Elizabeth Joy Sullivan. Sisters, Dorothy Jean Albright Buchanan, and Lula Bill Albright Yates.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Burwell Albright, Estella Mae Prater Albright; granddaughter, Kaila Marie Sullivan; brothers, Edgar Earl Albright, Gayle David Albright, Alwin Albright.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with interment to follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 9:00 A.M.
