Terence A. Cook, D.D.S., M.A.G.D., 81, of Pittsburg, TX passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, in a Mt. Pleasant, TX nursing home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dr. Cook was born October 22, 1943, in Lyons, Illinois to Henry and Evelyn Daisy Lenzi Cook. He was a retired dentist, having practiced in Pittsburg, TX until he retired.
Throughout his life, Dr. Cook enjoyed raising cattle, reading about religion and world history, studying, attending performing arts events, and following current events.
He loved traveling with his wife and son to historical points of interest. One of Dr. Cooks most memorable trips was traveling to Costa Rica while formally studying Spanish to benefit his patients, wherein he was able to enrich his devotion to learning Spanish by immersing himself in the history and culture.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Beth Cook; stepson, Von Setzler and wife, Sharon of Caddo Mills, TX; step granddaughter, Shay Myers and husband Storm; and step great-granddaughter, Jaycie Emery.
No formal visitation is scheduled.
