Syble Louise (Nash) Dent

Funeral services for Syble Louise Tigert Dent, 96, of Daingerfield will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randel Trull officiating.  Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Camp County.  Arrangements will be under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  She passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at her son's residence.

Mrs. Dent was born April 15, 1927, in Monahans, Texas, to William and Bessie Mae Hobbs Nash. She was a retired Nurse, she went on to work at Walmart for 15 years, where she was able to see old friends from the area, a member of the First Baptist Church of Ore City, Texas. 

Mrs. Dent is survived by her son, Johnny Tigert and wife, Dianne; and seven stepchildren; Freddie Maurice Tigert, Mary Nell Ware, Venita Robertson, Sherry Dent, Donna Hankins, many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her daughters, LaJuana Adams and Freida Ann Easley, stepson, Ricky Dent, three loving husbands, Allen Adams, Fred Tigert, and Jess Dent; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Travis Breazeale, Ricky Tigert, Dennis Gipson, Ashton Gipson, and Jim Monkhouse.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
