Mrs. Shirley Ann Sims, age 87, of Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born August 17, 1937 in Leesburg, Texas to Charles and Allie Williams Manley.
Mrs. Sims graduated from the Pittsburg Independent School District, and worked for PISD for 25 years in the cafeteria.
She is survived by her children, son, Marcus Sims; daughters, Marcia Sims, and Melinda Sims Hill and husband Michael; grandchildren, Joshua Edgar, Megan Harris and husband Charles, Nathan Edgar and wife Brandi, Taylor Hill, and Kaleb Hill and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren, Wesley Edgar, Jaci Edgar, Sadie Edgar, Rylie Edgar, Parker Harris, Scarlett Harris, Hunter Harris, Jade Edgar, and Rose Edgar; brother, Fred Manley and wife Virginia; sister-in-law’s, Patsy Manley, Kay Manley, and Carlene Manley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Sims; both of her parents, Charles and Allie Manley; and four brothers along with their spouses, James Manley and wife Peggy, Doyle Manley and wife Joy, Richard Manley, and AJ Manley.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Bro. Ken Manley officiating with interment to follow at Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Pallbearers will be Wesley Edgar, Rylie Edgar, Parker Harris, Hunter Harris, Joshua Edgar, Nathan Edgar, Kaleb Hill and Charlie Harris. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 9:00 A.M.
