Scott Wilburn Harper

Mr. Scott Harper age 59, of Leesburg, passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 18, 1965 in Dallas, Texas to Robert and Wilma Rudolph Harper.

He attended Emory High School and played football for one year. He worked at Cal-Maine Foods and was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Harper; children, Heather Jo Harper;, Robert Lee Hinsley, James Marcus Hinsley and wife Jennifer, and Jessica Marie Hinsley North and husband Aaron; grandchildren, Kimberly Ruth Hinsley, Jaden Scott Harper, Gus North, James Hinsely, Tommy Hinsley, Brittney Hinsley, Jesse Hinsely, Jeremy Hinsley, Halie Hinsley, Kaitlye Hinsley, Nadie North, Abbi North, Olivia North, and James Marcus Hinsley; great-grandchildren, Madeline Hinsley; brother, Kendall Harper and wife Melanie; nephew, Kahle Ryan Harper; aunts, Lois Johnston, Loretta (Tiny) Surber, and Maria Rudolph, along with numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Harper; grandmother, Geneva Rudolph; and grandfather, Wilburn Rudolph.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M. Saturday August 17, 2024 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with interment to follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kendall Harper, Kayle Harper, James Hinsley, Tommy Hinsley, Jaden Harper, Timothy Newman, and Mike Jones. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
