Sandra Judith "Judy" (Hicks) Insall

Funeral services for Sandra Judith “Judy” Insall, 85, of Pittsburg, TX will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Stuart officiating.  Interment will be in the Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Insall passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her residence while surrounded by family.

Mrs. Insall was born July 26, 1938, in Upshur County to Ezro and Eva Kelsey Hicks. She retired from being a local grocery clerk for many years and an administrator for Newsome Community Center.  She was also a member of Newsome Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Insall and wife, Joann and Phillip Insall; grandchildren, Jennifer Duckworth, Sarah Dotter, Shaun Insall, and Ty Insall; great-grandchildren, Sebastian Dickinson, Kaleb Dickinson, William Duckworth, Keagen Dotter, Kade Dotter, Karson Dotter, Zane Insall, Gracy Hignight, Aubry Hignight, Kaylana Insall, and Lynnox Insall; great-great-grandchild, Lucyanna Dotter; brothers, Robert Hicks and David Hicks; and sister, Elise Coker.

Mrs. Insall was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Ray Insall, son, Kevin Ray Insall, parents, brother, Theodore Hicks, and sister, Karen (Hicks) Day.

Pallbearers will be Shaun Insall, Ty Insall, Danny Duckworth, William Duckworth, Zane Insall, and Karson Dotter.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
