Sandra Gay (Hess) Burton

Graveside services for Sandra Gay Burton, 80, of Coppell, will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Reverend John Coleman officiating.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Burton passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Burton was born February 9, 1943, in Gilmer to George Aubrey and Frances Reynolds Hess.  She was a retired school teacher, realtor, and a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Burton of Coppell; son, Christian Burton and wife, Jordan of Fort Worth; daughter, Julie Wyatt and husband, Aaron of Denton; grandchildren, Jacob Burton, Araceli Wyatt, and Esme Wyatt; half-sisters, Pam Chessher of Hallsville and Gail Peal of Austin.

Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her parents.
