Rodney Harold Marshall

Rodney Harold Marshall, age 79, of Pittsburg, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born on November 26, 1946, in Camp County, Texas, to Robert Marshall and Muriel Wagoner Marshall. He was a lifelong Pittsburg resident who valued hard work, faith, and family.

Rodney graduated from Pittsburg High School and attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Throughout his life, he retired from SWEPCO where he worked as a Chemist and was also a dairyman, professions that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Marshall and Muriel Wagoner Marshall; his brother, Robert Wayne Marshall; and his sister, Judy Gail French.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Judy Stewart Marshall; daughter, Karen Marshall Jumper and husband Mike; son, Breck Marshall and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Ryan Marshall and wife Hannah, Carson Jumper and wife Courtney, Emily Huie and husband Kolton, Madison Jumper, and Drew Marshall, great-grandchildren, Parker Mabe, Cole Jumper, Kason Huie, and Emma Marshall.

Rodney will be remembered for his quiet strength, his commitment to his work, his devotion to his faith, and the love he shared with those around him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 22, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg with Bro. Joel Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Camp County. Pallbearers will be Breck Marshall, Mike Jumper, Carson Jumper, Ryan Marshall, Drew Marshall, and Pat Marshall. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Barrett, Paul Davis, Charlie Smith, and George French. There will be a visitation held on Sunday. June 21, 2026, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
