Robert Eugene Morris, Jr.

Graveside Services for Robert Eugene Morris, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Mr. Morris passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant. He was born August 29, 1941 to Robert Eugene Morris, Sr. and Aline Pierce Morris.

Mr. Morris graduated from Texas A&M University with his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He was employed with TXDOT where he was the District Engineer in Mt. Pleasant upon retiring,

He is survived by his children, Robert Morris and wife Sarah, and Cindy Walker and husband David; grandchildren, Ryan Walker, Kaitlyn Walker Sinclair, Emily Morris, and Evan Morris, great-grandchildren, Emery Walker, Elliot Walker, Jameson Sinclair, and Jude Sinclair.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Carpenter Morris; both of his parents, Robert Eugene Morris, Sr., and Aline Pierce Morris; and two brothers, Harold Pierce, and Thomas Shelton Morris.
