Robert Leonard McElhaney

Funeral services for Robert Leonard McElhaney, 59, of Tyler (formerly of Pittsburg), will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2023, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church with Reverend Joshua McElhaney, Reverend Jonah McElhaney, and Pastor Chase Combs officiating.  Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. McElhaney passed away Monday, February 27, 2023, in a Tyler hospital.

Mr. McElhaney was born November 1, 1963, in Winnsboro to Donald Ray and Mildred Bridgeman McElhaney. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Pittsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Alice McElhaney; sons, Jonah McElhaney and wife, Dinorah and Joshua Len McElhaney and wife, Emily; daughter, Monica Marie Beaird and husband, Nick; grandchildren, Mayli, Ethan, Isiah, Jaxson, Addison, Kailyn, Asher, Baby Addison, and Claire; mother, Mildred McElhaney; brother, Donald Ray McElhaney, Jr.; and sister, Debbie Patterson and Pam Wallace.

Mr. McElhaney was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray McElhaney.

Pallbearers will be Ray McElhaney, Jarrod McElhaney, Joe Concha, Jacob Concha, Ray McElhaney, III, and Julio Zepeda.

Honorary pallbearers, Sergio Martinez, Jason Patterson, Stephen Shephard, and Jordan Concha.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2023, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church.
