Richard Powell

Mr. Richard Nels Powell, age 83, of Pittsburg passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Pittsburg. He was born May 1, 1939 to Marvin and Ellen Powell in Powers Lake, North Dakota.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Powell; sons, Richard William Powell, Eric Powell, Mike Shaffer, Craig Shaffer; daughters, Elizabeth Diano, Jessica Best, Susan Goforth, Brenda Gerson; grandchildren, Brittany Alexander, Ryan Best,  Michael Shaffer, Daniela Diano, Addison Best, Jordan Goforth, Haley Goforth, Erin Gerson, Aidan Gerson and; 3 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Ty Watson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Thunderbird Point Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11:30am.
