Peggy Ann (Ransdell) Harper

Peggy Ann Harper passed away peacefully at Havencare Nursing Facility in Longview on Sunday, July 16, 2023, and went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 91 years.

Peggy was born on July 20, 1931, in Gorman, TX.  She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother.  Peggy was a loyal and faithful member of Leesburg, Baptist Church for over 75 years.  She retired from Arkla Gas Company after 40 years of service.

She is survived by her son Hays Harper of Pittsburg, son and daughter-in-law, Jim, and Pam Harper of Longview; grandchildren, Jessica Lee and husband, Mike of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Gordon Harper of Longview; and great-grandchildren, Ben Lee, and Nora Lee both of Highlands Ranch, CO.

Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Vivian Ransdell, and sister, Joyce Brummell.

Memorial services will be held at Leesburg Baptist Church on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. Wyman Steptoe officiating.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peggy’s life.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg at a later date.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Leesburg Baptist Church.
