Patsy Ruth (Clements) Newsome

Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Newsome, 90, of Pittsburg will be 10:00, a.m., October 24, 2024, at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeff Dungan officiating.  Interment to follow at Leesburg Cemetery in Camp County. Mrs. Newsome passed away, Sunday, October 20, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family.

Mrs. Newsome was born on November 23, 1933, in Pittsburg to Claude Manley and Rachel King Clements. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, David Newsome and wife, Robin of Pittsburg; daughter, Dawn Harrell and husband, Richard of Littleton, CO; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Newsome is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Newsome, parents, Claude Manley and Rachel Clements.

Pallbearers will be Tim Nicholson, Steve Garrett, Winston Harrell, Richard Harrell, Jr., Jess Anderson, and Shaun Insall.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
