Opal Allene (Schane) Green

Mrs. Opal Allene Green, age 81, of Pittsburg passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant. She was born March 12, 1940 to Robert Alexander Schane and Mary Udell Henson Schane in Mineral Wells, Texas.

She was a retired Postal Worker from the United States Postal Service and a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert Wayne Green and wife Mary Ann of Jacksonville, and John Edward Green of Boerne, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother, Tim Schane and wife Joyce, and a sister, Mary Burns and husband Kenneth.

She is preceded in death by her husband Felton Truman Green, daughter, Myra Dell Parker, her parents Robert and Udell Schane, her brother, Kenneth Schane, and daughter-in-law, Antoinette Green.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Rev. Tim Schane officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. There will be a visitation held from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Thursday February 24, 2022 at the funeral home.
