Norma (Underwood) Jackson

Memorial service for Norma Jackson, 84, of Pittsburg, will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Crossroads Cemetery in Camp County with Robert Underwood officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  She passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at in a Longview hospital.

Ms. Jackson was born February 12, 1938, in Dallas, to Jesse A. and Rubby Robins Underwood.  She was a retired clerk having worked for ARKLA Gas for 25 years and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Mike Murphy; grandchildren, Shane Murphy and wife, Kim, Shelby Sullivan and husband, Allen, Peyton Gilbert and wife, Lindsey, and Cody Gilbert and wife, Erin; sister, June Ragsdale and Mary Harrison.

Ms. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Murphy; son, Pat Murphy; daughter, Karla Murphy Gilbert; and brother, Alvis Underwood.

A visitation will be held immediately following the memorial service under the Pavilion at Crossroads Cemetery.
