Norma Jeane DiBella, age 92, of Longview passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Longview. She was born January 18, 1932 to Marvin and Winnie Sorrells Efurd in Pittsburg.
She was a retired bookkeeper, and a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church in Longview. Norma graduated the Salutatorian of her class from Pittsburg High School, and received the Susanna Wesley Award of Excellence for high standard of commitment and devotion to God. She served many missions on the Navajo Indian Reservation, and she was devoted to her church and her family.
She is survived by her son, Anthony DiBella of Longview; granddaughter, Marissa DiBella-Kuler and husband James of Gladewater; sisters, Janice Burns of Pittsburg, and Judy Tomme and husband Steve of Pittsburg; sister-in-law, Sue Efurd of Pittsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Jerry Efurd; and her brother-in-law, Bennie Burns.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2024 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Pittsburg with Pastor Brant Graham officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family before the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. till 1:45 P.M. at Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg.
