Mildred (Smith) Gamble

Graveside services for Mildred Gamble, 100, of Pittsburg will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2023, at Ebenezer Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Gamble passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Colonial Village in Longview.

Mrs. Gamble was born October 25, 1922, in Pittsburg, to Archie B. and Lela Diffey Smith.  She was retired from Children’s Medical Center in Dallas having served in the position of Public Relations and Fund Raiser and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her cousin, Beverly Snell of Bellville, TX; and close friend, Charlotte Ezelle of Gilmer.

Mrs. Gamble was proceeded in death by her husband, Charles “Choc” Gamble, and parents.
