Graveside service for Michael Ray Shrum, 63, of Leesburg will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Leesburg Cemetery with Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will be in the Leesburg cemetery in Camp County. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Shrum passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born May 7, 1958, in Pittsburg to Donald and Johnnie Faye Mitcham Shrum. Mr. Shrum grew up in Camp County before moving to Kermit, Texas for ten years and then to Wood County for four years, but his heart was always in Camp County and a member of the Episcopal faith.
Mr. Shrum is survived by his brother, Ronnie Ray Shrum and wife, Heather; sister, Cindy Davis and husband, Johnny P.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Ray Shrum.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
