Michael Jeffery Morgan

Michael Jeffery Morgan, 84, of Pittsburg, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, in a Pittsburg nursing home.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Morgan was born on December 5, 1940, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Paul Cannell and Dorothy Evelyn Reed Morgan.  He was a retired landscaper and gardener, member of the "East Texas Men In Harmony" is a barbershop chorus and affiliated quartets that perform in the Longview, Texas area, the Longview Bonsai Society operates in Northeast Texas, and he made jewelry for many years.

He is survived by his sister, Paula Chandarlis; and nephew, Mickey Chandarlis.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Cannell and Dorothy Evelyn Morgan; siblings, Dorothy, Shirley, James, Sue, Patricia, Carol, and Lynne.
