Mary Ella (Moore) Pilgrim

Mary Ella Pilgrim, 93, of Pittsburg, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, in a Mt. Pleasant nursing home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pilgrim was born September 3, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant to Johnny Milton and Willie Beatrice Barr Moore.  She was a homemaker and a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

She is survived by her son, Billy Pilgrim and wife, Ludie; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pilgrim is preceded in death by her husband, Arelin Pilgrim; sons, Donald Ray Pilgrim and Bobby Dean Pilgrim; daughter, Janice Pilgrim; parents, Johnny Milton and Willie Beatrice Pilgrim; and brother, Edwin Roy Moore.

No formal visitation is scheduled.
