Graveside services for Marilyn Alexander, 89, of Pittsburg will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2021, at Center Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Don Sides officiating. Interment will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Travis Fritz, Josh Fritz, Colton Crow, Hunter Devine, Kristian Fritz, and David Garrett. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Alexander passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on July 19, 1932, in Pittsburg, to Homer and Ethel Bynum Jenkins. She was a homemaker, worked part-time at Pittsburg Hot Links, Pilgrims Hatchery and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by her son, Adrian Alexander; daughter, Frieda Fritz; grandchildren, Travis Fritz and Josh Fritz, Kristian Fritz, Jayden Fritz, and Brandy Shaw; great-grandchildren, Dixie Crow, Emily Devine, Colton Crow, and Hunter Devine; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Hooper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Alexander; parents, brother, Calvin Jenkins, sister, Joyce Kimbell.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2021, at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
