Maria Rosa Angel de Acosta

Funeral Mass for Maria Rosa Angel de Acosta, 66, will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Cesar Betancourt officiating.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Acosta passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, in a Tyler hospital.

Mrs. Acosta was born November 11, 1956, in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose Antonio Angel Hernandez and Claudia Lopez.  She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Mrs. Acosta is survived by her husband, Raul Acosta; sons, Raul Acosta, Jr., Ramiro Acosta, Dagoberto Acosta, Jose G. Acosta, and Luis F. Acosta; daughters, Leticia Acosta, Araceli Acosta, and Patricia Acosta; grandchildren, Daniel, Alonzo, Jahir, Javier, Diego, Melissa, Luis Humberto, Ramiro Jr., Omar, Ashley, Antonio, Jesus, Carla, Mateo, Johnny, Tony, Chelsea, Luis F. Jr. and Jaretzy; great-grandchildren, Antonio Jr., Guadalupe, Kimberly, and Ivan Daniel; brother, Juan Angel; sister, Martina Angel.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Pedro Angel Ruben Angel.

Pallbearers will be Raul Acosta, Jr., Ramiro Acosta, Dagoberto Acosta, Luis F. Acosta, Jose G. Acosta, Jose Cruz Trejo, Daniel P. Acosta, and Jose Jahir Trejo.

Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023, until 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2023, at the White building across the street from Holy Cross Catholic Church.
