Makayla Lynn Goodson

Makayla Lynn Goodson, age 21, passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021 at her home in Pittsburg. She was born April 2, 2000 to Micheal Goodson and Cristy Gail Roach in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Makayla was very proud that she had earned her GED and also her Cosmetologist License. She loved to laugh, do hair and makeup, and when she loved, she loved hard.

She is survived by her father, Micheal Goodson and wife Michelle; and her mother, Cristy Gail Roach; brothers, Christopher Lindley and wife Andrea, Mika Goodson; sister, Hailey Marshall and fiancé O’Ryan Fisher; grandparents, Bobbie Watson, Helen Wright, Clifford Seals, and Barbara Lindley; niece, Violet Fisher, and nephew, William Fisher; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her boyfriend, Matthew Veasley.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Paulette Dean, Whalen Roach, Sr. and Jody Lindley.

A family lead Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Newsome Community Center 233 CR 3540 Leesburg, Texas 75451.
