Magdalena Rodriguez Gauna Delgado

Magdalena Rodriguez Gauna Delgado was born June 4, 1946, in Palau, Coah. to Vicente Gauna and Guadalupe Delgado and passed away at her home in Pittsburg on January 18, 2024.

She obtained her teaching degree, but spent most of her time at home raising her children and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Iglesia de Jesucristo of Longview, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Isidro (Sonny) Rodriguez; sons, Luis Rodriguez, Cesar Mario Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez; daughters; Lizzette Velez and Jannette Mancilla. sons in law: Mauricio Mancilla and Daniel Velez; daughters in law; Rocio Rodriguez, Maritzza Rodriguez, and Cristy Rodriguez; grandchildren, Caesar Rodriguez, Jovanna Escobar, Jacob Rodriguez, Caleb Escobar, Brisa Rodriguez, Nephtali Mancilla, Jeremiah Rodriguez, Seth Escobar, Abisahi Rodriguez, and Benjamin Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Cataleya Rodriguez, Jasmine Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Jr., Ilaya Escobar, and Abram Escobar;  and brother, Juan Gauna.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dora Ayala.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2024 between 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
