Mable Loraine (Tucker) Campbell

Graveside services for Mable Loraine Campbell, 91, of Scroggins will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County with Bro. Larry Glosup officiating.  Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the directions of Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg.  Mable Loraine Campbell went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2020. 

Loraine was born March 18, 1929 in Upshur County, Texas to Samuel Odno and Burta Lee Tucker.

She married Milton Troy Campbell on March 13, 1948.  Loraine graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1946.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband.

Her working years were as a legal secretary.  Loraine also spent many years doing income tax for the public.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and served as Treasurer for many years.  She was also a member of O.E.S. for over 50 years and served as Worthy Matron for a term.  Loraine loved painting, especially portraits and horses, but by far her greatest love was her family.   She enjoyed all family get-togethers, particularly the Tucker reunion each year, where she got to visit with all those cousins, some of which she had grown very close to.  She loved her church and church family and truly enjoyed the fellowship.  All who knew her remember her humor and her quirky nature.  She had true compassion for others.

Loraine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Larry Bullard; daughter Toni Campbell; granddaughters, Tammy Clutter and Angi Bennett and husband, Ricky; her great-grandchildren, Jake Bullard, Jaimee Albritton, Morgan and Braden Bennett, Jaxon and Hudson Clutter; great-great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Tatum and Saylor.

Loraine’s family will miss her terribly, but look forward to that blessed reunion day in heaven.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.  The family request that everyone attending visitation, please wear a mask due to an immediate family member having compromised respiratory conditions.
