Lorena (Ogden) Kerns

Lorena Kerns, 77, of Pittsburg, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, in a Pittsburg Nursing Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Kerns was born on September 8, 1946, in Brazoria, TX, to Glen and Edith Bewley Ogden.  She was a retired Lab Technician having worked for Titus Regional Medical Center and Gilmer Medical Center.

She is survived by her sons, Glen Godwin and wife Shelley,  Dana Godwin and wife Shelley; daughter, Edith Godwin Smith and husband, Stephen; step-sons, Michael Kerns, Benny Kerns and wife Becky; step-daughter, Julie Hepp and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Richard (Ricky) Godwin and wife, Angel, Timothy Godwin and wife Nicki, Nicki Goodwin Marker and husband Danny, David Godwin, Elexia Dikmeyer, Rebecca Godwin, Shawn Crouch and wife, Brenna, Kristina Jaycox; Marshall Smith, and Derrick Smith;  great-grandchildren, Shane Godwin, Corbin and Colman Marker, Kileyauna Godwin, Lee Randolph, Avery and Anderson Crouch, AyraLynn and LeLynn Dikmeyer, Kai, Jaidyn, and Willow Godwin;  brother, Harold “Buzz” Ogden; sister, Glenda Ogden.

Mrs. Kerns is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Laurie Glenn Ogden; sister, Betty Lou Floyd; stepson, Phillip Kerns.
