Lee Ida (Richards) Young

Graveside services for Lee Ida Young, 92, of Pittsburg will be 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Rose Hill Cemetery with Bro. John Middleton officiating.  Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Young passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, in a Winnsboro nursing home.

Mrs. Young was born October 20, 1929, in Upshur County to T.R. and Hazel Scarborough Richards.  She worked as the Compliance officer for the former Pittsburg National Bank and was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Tom Young and wife, Jan, Ted Young and wife, Donna, and Darryl Young; daughter, Cindy Morgan and husband, Curtis; grandchildren, Linda Young, Louis Young and wife, Crystal; Richard Young and wife, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Justice, Maddison, Annalise, Izzabella, Megan, Celeste, Brayden, Lilly, Briana, Alexander, Makensie, Kayleigh, and Emileigh.

Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Young; grandchildren, Paul Young and Tori Peace; sister, Dolores Bunt

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
