Larry DeWayne Morris

Larry DeWayne Morris, age 78, of Pittsburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at his home. He was born November 26, 1946 to George and Lee Branum Morris in Dallas, Texas

Larry was a Rancher for the majority of his life and was a retired Corporate Chemist for Luminant. He was an Elder at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg. He loved and was involved with his boys and many other children in the community for many years with baseball, FFA, and any other need that arose for the children.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Young Morris; sons, Dewayne Morris and Curtis Morris; grandchildren, Andrew Morris and wife Dariann, Lindsey Morris, and Breanna Morris.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg with Bro. Kyle Smith officiating with interment to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. till 6:00 P.M. at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
