Kevin Ray Ford

Kevin Ray Ford, age 54, of Pittsburg, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in Pittsburg. He was born June 22, 1970 to Clarence “Jack” Orville Ford and Carolyn Sue Crawford Ford in Ft. Worth, Texas.

He grew up going to Hurst View Baptist Church in Hurst, Texas. He graduated from Gilmer High School in 1988. Kevin traveled the world laying AstroTurf in 48 states and 5 different countries when he owned and operated Ford Sports Insulation. Kevin was known for his infectious smile, his hugs, and he always had a kind word to say. Recently he was the assistant manager for O’Reilly Auto Parts in Pittsburg, where yet again he made an impact on the lives of others, with his kindness and his smile. He was a lot of fun to be around, and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Kevin is survived by his daughters, Skylee Ford of Tyler, Tx, and Arianna Berry of Tyler, Tx; mother, Carol Ford of Pittsburg, Tx; brothers, Jack Bryan Ford and wife Duchar of Del Rio, Tennessee, Clayton Ford of Springtown, Tx, and Charles “Chuck” Lowrance of Trophy Club, Texas; sister, Darla Lance and husband Joe of Tennessee;  cousins, Charlie Ford and wife Lisa of Cumby, Tx, Clint Ford and wife Mecca of Cumby, Tx, Brandy Waldrop and husband DeLeon, and Orville Suth of Cleburne, Tx; along with a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence “Jack” O. Ford; and a brother, Mike Lowrance.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
