Kerry Mize

A Celebration of Life for Kerry Mize, 46, of Mineola, will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at their residence.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Mize passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Mize was born May 19, 1979, in Fairfield, Texas, to Charles Neil and Katie Jean Henson Walker. He was a retired crane operator.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Mize; sons, Colten Murphy, Matthew Murphy and wife, Alyssa, and Ronnie Matthews and wife, Betth; daughters, Izzy Mize, Zoey Mize, and Christian Adair and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Nicholas, Hunter, Liam, and Oaklynn; step-grandchildren, Darcie, Rusty Jr., Maya, and Saul; brothers, Mike Mize and wife, Olinda, Kelly Mize and wife, Angie, Larry Jr Walker and wife, Maria, Jake Hooker; sisters, Marina Hauk, Analiese Morris, Patricia Moreno and husband, Pablo, and Rachel Johnston and husband, Brian.

Mr. Mize was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Neil Mize and Katie Jean Walker; grandchild, Thomas Matthews; and sister, Mitzi Gore.
