Kenneth "Jackrabbit" Davis

Mr. Kenneth “Jackrabbit” Davis, age 86, of Scroggins, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1939, in Upshur County to J.C. Davis and Lida Belle Clark Davis.

He served in the United States Army and worked for many years as a truck driver. Kenneth, along with his wife, Dianne, was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Dianne, of Scroggins; son, Kenneth Davis of Lindale; stepsons, David Walton and wife, Karen, of Pittsburg, and Dustin and wife, Shannon, of Pittsburg; daughter, Karen Russell and husband, Tracy, of Hughes Springs; and stepdaughter, Dayna Hooper and husband, Wesley, of Scroggins; grandchildren, Cecily, Randi, Blake, Rhonda, Rita, Nikki, Heather, Taylor, and Ryan; numerous great-grandchildren; his brother, Billy, and his sister, Joyce.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Lida Davis, and grandson, Jared.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pittsburg, with Bro. Larry Glosup officiating.
