Mrs. Judy Sharp, age 77, of Pittsburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her home in Pittsburg. She was born July 20, 1944 to Willard Marcelaus Taylor and Bertha Pearl Winn Taylor in Houston, Texas.
She was a florist and homemaker, and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsburg. She enjoyed, fishing, quilting, and sewing. Judy and Ira have known each other since they were kids. Ira would ride by her daddy's house each day in the back of a pickup truck heading to work, she would always make sure she was out on the front porch so that they could wave at each other. They started dating when she was 14 and he was 17 and married 3 years later and built a loving Christian family over the next 60 plus years. Their love of fishing together is shared with the many stories of who caught the most and the biggest fish of the day with the best story being when she got mad because her line kept getting hung in the brush so she threw her entire rod and reel in the lake and said I am done fishing now.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ira Sharp; sons, James Christopher Sharp and wife Deloris, and D.W. McMillan and wife April; daughters, Tamara Sue Sharp Entrop and husband Brent, and Judi Cathy Sharp Allen and husband Jack; grandchildren, Austin Entrop and wife Amy, Autumn Entrop Williams and husband Ian, Amanda Allen an Michael, Missy Allen, Lance Allen, Jacque Allen, Hunter McMillan, Hayden McMillan, Madison McMillan, Mailey Bynum, Allie Bynum, Cody Barganski, Stephani Green, Erin Barganski, Sarah Allen Bewely and husband Anthony, and Hilary Kay Allen; great-grandchildren, Henry, Ellie, Leigha, Thomas, Abigail, Shalyn, Blaze, Ahri, Kiya, Camille, Ray, Hunter, Minnie, Jesse, Joyce.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bill Taylor, her sister Betty Partain, and great-grandson, Matthew.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Bro. Randy Stracener officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. Pallbearers will be Tony Francis, Warren Perkins, Brent Entrop, Danny Sharp, Danny Howell, Lance Allen, and Billy Moss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hackler and James Roberts. There will be a visitation held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
