Funeral services for Joy Ann Rutledge Smith, 80, of Pittsburg will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at New Mine Church with Pastor Tim Parker and Pastor Mike Kessler officiating. Interment will be Reeves Chapel Cemetery in Camp County. Mrs. Smith passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born February 13, 1939 in Pittsburg to Jesse and Ruth Taylor Rutledge. She was a retired nurse having worked at M&S Hospital in Pittsburg and for Dr. Fuller and a member of the New Mine Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Anna Marie Dobbs and husband, Gary and Mary Elizabeth McAuley and husband, Mike; son, John Mark Smith and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Candace Perschbacher and husband, Scott, Josh Spigener and wife, Whitney, Preston Spigener, Shelby Spigener and soon to be husband, Kelly Thomas, Cory and Kay Thompson and Matthew Smith and wife Kalin; great-grandchildren, Brody Perchbacher, Canon Perschbacher, Allison Spigener, Cashton Smith, Kharis Smith, Kherington Smith and Claire and Bradley Thompson. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Smith; parents, Jesse and Ruth Rutledge; sister, Twila Gene Rutledge; granddaughter, Allison Nicole Dobbs. A visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
