Jolene (Stoneman) Lain

Jolene Lain, 89, of Pittsburg, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at her residence.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lain was born March 5, 1935, in Anson, TX to Jim and Pearl Bennett Stoneman. She was a retired register nurse having worked in the medical field for over 40 years which included working in several area hospitals and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, Jim Lain and wife, Lynn of Daingerfield, Randal Lain of Pittsburg, Ricky Lain and wife, Rhonda of Granbury; daughter, Debbie Lain of Big Spring; grandchildren, Kim, Billy, Morgan, Bailey, Randal, Jr., Shannon, Chris, Sandy, Lisa, and Robert; 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lain is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, David Shelton Lain; parents, Jim and Pearl Stoneman; and sister, Joyce.

No formal visitation is scheduled.
