Joe Bill Sewell

Joe Bill Sewell, 78, of Pittsburg was born February 21, 1944 in Gilmer, Texas to Bill and Billie McGahee Sewell and passed away on November 7, 2022 in Pittsburg, Texas.

Mr. Sewell graduated high school and then attended East Texas State University, retired from Eastex Crude where he was a truck driver, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Joe Bill was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and loved raising bird dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Rogers Sewell of Pittsburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Anna Sewell of Pittsburg and Paul and Laurie Sewell of Pittsburg; step-son, Jody Thomas of Linden; grandchildren, Zach Sewell, Parker Sewell, Julianna Sewell, Linsey Harwell, and Crystal Chapman; great grandchildren, Payton and Hunter Harwell, and Callan and Cason Chapman; and sister, Patty Sewell Patterson and husband Jerry Patterson of Kaufman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Sewell.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.  The Eastex Crude family will serve as pallbearers.
