Our dearly loved mother, JoAnn Kennington, transitioned from this life into the arms of Jesus on February 26th, 2024. JoAnn was born on September 15th, 1930, in Pritchett Texas, to Frederick Worth Maxwell and Myrtle May Brandon Maxwell.
JoAnn was a stenographer and homemaker. She loved knitting, camping, cooking, and spending time with her family. She taught cradle roll in church for many years and was always active in fun groups with her great group of friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Clovis Kennington, and her parents, father, Frederick Maxwell; Myrtle Maxwell Strange; and step-father, E.E. Strange.
