Jimmy Leon Blount

Jimmy Leon Blount, age 59, of Pittsburg, passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at a Dallas Hospital. He was born July 20, 1964 to Era “Junior” Blount, Jr. and Sue Benefield Blount in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

Jimmy served in the United States Army, was a handy man, and was a Baptist.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Blount; parents, Era “Junior” Blount, Jr. and Sue Benefield Blount; sister, Patricia Steele and husband Michael; brother, Mike Blount and wife Tammie; and two nieces, Tabitha Ballard and husband Shane, and Trisha Tindel and husband Kevin.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Crossroads Cemetery in Camp County with Bro. Randy Stracener officiating. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 1:30 P.M. at the cemetery.
