Jerry Edward Lee

Graveside services for Jerry Edward Lee, 80, of Mt. Pleasant will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2020 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County with Bro. Glen Griffith officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Lee passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Lee was born December 3, 1939 in Wood County to Earl and Estell Robertson Lee.  He retired from RobRoy in Gilmer after 20 years, was a carpenter and was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughters, Penny Jones and husband, Darin of Gilmer and Livia Duncan of Pittsburg; son, Gary Messer and wife, Elaine of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Merlene Lee of Plano; sister-in-law, Trevella Monk of Gilmer; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Delene Lee; parents; son, Jerry Paul Messer; daughter, Kimberly Smith; and brother, Donald Lee.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
