Jerry Goforth

Mr. Jerry Goforth age 75, of Pittsburg passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Tyler. He was born May 9, 1946 to Ray and Marcella Coffey Goforth in Lucas, Texas.

Mr. Goforth served in the United States Marine Corps, was a retired machinist, and was Chief for the Thunderbird Point Fire Department in Pittsburg. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ware Goforth; son, Todd Goforth and wife Susan; grandchildren, Jordan Nicole Goforth, and Haley Rae Goforth.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Adam Wade Goforth; and a brother, Vernon Ray Goforth.

A family led Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg, with Rev. Jeff Dungan officiating.
