Jerry Donald Farmer, age 80, of Pittsburg, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 in Tyler. He was born January 26, 1944 to Burley and Emmalee Barnett Farmer.
He served in the United States Army and held several positions with law enforcement including, Texas DPS Officer for 27 years, Special Texas Ranger for 23 years, Camp County Constable for 6 years, and was also a fulltime farmer, but best of all he was a Dad and Pops.
Jerry is survived by his two sons, Jayson Farmer and wife Kristi, Justin Farmer and wife Bobbie, grandchildren, Jeremy Dee Farmer, Jaxtin Farmer, and Jagger Farmer, great-grandson, Jameson Farmer; brother, Bobby Farmer; sister, Carolyn Hunter; nieces and nephews, Roy Hunter, Troy Hunter, and Celina Nelson; and the mother of his children and close friend, Mary Farmer Buckner.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday May 18, 2024 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the home of Jerry Farmer, 7069 HWY 11 West Pittsburg, Texas 75686.
