Mr. Jerold Dwain Jordan, age 91, of Pittsburg, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 19, 1934 to Millard and Mamie Shrum Jordan in Camp County.
Jerold served in the United States Army, and when he returned he made a career working for The Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Pittsburg. Jerold was devoted Christian man, having served as a deacon for many years at Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburg where he was a member.
Jerold had many things that he enjoyed doing, whether it was camping, trot lining, gardening, playing dominos, or challenging his family to a game of washers in the yard. Spending time with his family was very important to him and one of his favorite things to do. When he was still enough to watch TV he was either watching the Dallas Cowboys or westerns.
He is survived by his children, daughter, Twila Holt, son, Norris Jordan and wife Debbie, and his bonus son, Billy Taylor and wife Liz; step-daughter, Denae Moran; grandchildren, Brandan Jordan and Brandy, Dusty Jordan and wife Gina, Jordan Holt and wife Andrea, and Brian Holt and wife Estebana, step-grandchildren, Cindy Harrison, Nichole Freeman, Tara Lytle, Trinity Virgin, Breanna Harrison and Murandi Seminara-Rivera; great-grandchildren, Lilly Holt, Cash Holt, Levi Jordan, Andrew Jordan, and Brody Holt; great-great-grandchild, Ava Josie Virgin; brother, David Jordan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Jordan; second wife, Juanita Jordan; both of his parents, Millard and Mamie Jordan; brother, James Jordan; son-in-law, Keith Holt; and step-son, Mark Harrison.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Bethel Baptist church in Pittsburg with Bro. John Middleton officiating. Interment with follow in Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg. Pallbearers will be Don Hightower, Billy Taylor, Dusty Jordan, Brandan Jordan, Jordan Holt, and Brian Holt. Honorary pallbearers will be, Matt Taylor, James White, and Steve Daniels. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
