Mrs. Jean Thomas Dehmlow, was born March 4, 1935 to W.E. and Doris Miller Thomas in Daingerfield. She departed this world for her heavenly home to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November, 26, 2023.
Jean graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1952, and attended Nursing School at Scott and White hospital in Temple, Texas. She later went back to college and received her Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist License. She worked in several East Texas Hospitals but primarily for what is known now as UT Health East Texas Pittsburg until she retired. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Pittsburg. She was proficient in American Sign Language and enjoyed interpreting the services for the hearing impaired. She loved her kids, and grandkids, and left them with wonderful memories. Memaw will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Don Dehmlow; her son and daughter, Wes Kirkham of Texarkana, Texas; and Tonia Stuard and husband Ronnie of Pittsburg, Texas; her siblings, Venita Smith of Pittsburg, Texas, W.E. Thomas Jr. of Spring, Texas, and Kathy Bruney of Kilgore, Texas; three grandchildren, Brittany Stuard, Jessica Kirby and husband Aaron, Chris Stuard and wife Amanda; and twelve great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Lauren, Trenton, Josiah, Ava, Lukas, Peyton, Cameron, Mason, Chapel, Micah, and Blakely.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg with Bro. Joel Davis, Bro. Randy Stuard, and Bro. Chris Stuard officiating with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Trenton Board, Aaron Kirby, Tim Truitt, Terry Waldrep, Doug Dehmlow, and Reavis Reynolds. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the church.
