James "Jim" Richard Jordan

Mr. James “Jim” Jordan, age 89, of Pittsburg passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in Pittsburg. He was born June 10, 1936 in Leesburg, TX.

Jim worked for the US Forest Service for 40 plus years, and was compassionate about being good stewards to the environment that God gave us and helping to preserve it. He was married to the love of his life Jan Jordan, and together they had a daughter Jacqueline, he in return was the love of Jan’s life for 48 years until her passing. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg.

He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline Jordan; brothers, Jerald Jordan and David Jordan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jan Jordan; his parents Millard and Mamie Jordan.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. There will be a private burial held in Leesburg Cemetery. There will a Memorial Service held at a later date.
