James Kenith "Kenny" Clifton

James Kenith “Kenny” Clifton, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Pittsburg, TX on Friday, May 1, 2026. Kenny was born December 25, 1942 in Upshur County.

Kenny was a long time employee of Marathon Letourneau in Mississippi and later on for Pilgrims Pride in Pittsburg, TX, before retiring in 2009.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Kenith Clifton, and his mother, Carey Melwyn “Mel” Clifton of Longview, TX.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Margarette Clifton; children, Lonnie Clifton and wife Tabatha of Frisco, TX, Nikki Phillips of Longview, TX; Aubrey Clifton of Daingerfield, TX, Dillon Clifton of Pittsburg, TX; sister, Georgia Betina Crutcher of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Dylan Phillips of Colorado City, CO, Dalton Phillips of Colorado City, CO, Cameron Clifton of Frisco, TX, Sarah Clifton of Summerville, NC, and Bowen James Isenberg of Daingerfield, TX; along with very special friends, Larry Crutcher of Odessa, TX, Sunny Lankford of Pittsburg, TX, and Bobby Isenberg of Daingerfield, TX.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
