Mr. Jack Edwards, age 79, of Pittsburg passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Pittsburg. He was born March 15, 1944 to Orie and Mildred Baker Edwards in Hope, Arkansas.
He worked for Strube Egg Farms, Pilgrims Pride, and then owned and operated Edwards Tractor and was a rancher. He was a loving family man, and was a very hard worker.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Leona Edwards; sons, Jack Edwards, Jr., Dr. Jeff Edwards and wife Ginny, and Jody Edwards and wife Melissa, Reene Sierra and wife Gloria; grandchildren, Britni and her husband Michael, Brian and his wife Stefani, Devann, Briana, Esmeralda, Melissa, and Jasmine; great-grandchildren, Adison, Hayden, Paizley, Holsten, Piper, Brix, and Kenadi; brother, Jim Edwards and wife Becky; and sisters, Brenda Spreen and husband John, and Dawn Edwards.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, and one brother.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Ebenezer Friendship Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Pittsburg.
