Jack served in the United States Army. In addition he was an educator for 56 years having taught at multiple school districts, most notably for Pittsburg ISD for many years, thus having a gym named in his honor which was completed in 2016. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Tommie Elaine Seay Arnwine whom he married on November 24, 1965 in Denton, Texas; son, Lee Arnwine; daughters, Terrie Breedlove and husband Evan, and Karen Sue Tobias and husband Carlos; grandchildren, Mallory Faulkner, Hannah Shirey, Carlito Tobias, Amelia Tobias, Maisey Breedlove, and William Young; sister-in-law, Laynette Seay Barnard and children of Denton, Texas. Also surviving are the family and friends members unencumbered by genetics. Unfortunately, everyone who met our Dad became his, and by extension ours, dear family circle. You will always be a part of the Jack Arnwine family. We love you all.

This will truly help improve local schools in spreading Jack's greatest passion: help improve your public school system for the maximum tangible benefit of our children, teachers, and programs.
