J. Abel Bernon

Memorial service for J. Abel Bernon, 57, of Pittsburg will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2024, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Robert Cigainero officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Bernon passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in a Pittsburg hospital.

Mr. Bernon was born May 18, 1967, in Jalpan de Serra, Qro, Mexico to Amador Bernon and Cecilia Ramirez.  He was a commercial truck driver and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Cardenas; daughters, Maria Bernon and husband, Miguel Romero and Andrena Matthews; grandchildren, Alexis Morse and Titan Morse; sisters, Tere Bernon, Nica Bernon, Cecilia Bernon, Raquel Bernon, and Vina Bernon.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Friday, November 8, 2024, at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
